Content Management
At Amaze, content management means customised solutions based on popular Open Source products and clarity about the procedure that is followed.
The information on our background contains further information about the technical aspects of management while our portfolio provides details about projects that we have completed.
Content management based on Open Source
You may have already heard about Plone, one of the most famous Open Source content management environments. According to Open Source tradition, Plone is not the wheel reinvented, but rather an application built on the basis of an existing Open Source product called Zope.
Zope is one of the most well-known Open Source application servers around at the moment and offers extensive options for integration with different existing systems and databases. The combination of Zope and Plone offers a stable environment for Content Management, Site Management, back-end integration and web-application development. Amaze is actively involved in the further development of Zope as well as Plone and provides a professional CMS environment that can be quickly expanded with existing and customised components.
Integration with existing environments
The Zope/Plone environment offers standard support for integration and syndication. In technical terms, think of RSS feeds, database connectors and integration with Java (J2EE) and Microsoft (.Net) environments (via XML or a powerful tool such as Python, for example).
Support
Zope is managed by a commercial company called Zope Corporation, located in the USA, which provides various support options. Moreover, Amaze can offer service and support in addition to the support provided by Zope Corporation.
