System Design
Functional Design
Content and Site Management processes set specific requirements for a Functional Design. The extent of this phase will differ for each project and can vary from a purely textual Functional Design to an UML-based document. Amaze has experience in this process and can ensure that the correct information from your organisation is incorporated into a clear document that will eventually determine the implementation phase in combination with a Technical Design and Interaction Design.
Proper harmonisation between these documents is a prerequisite for ensuring that projects proceed successfully so that you ultimately receive what you initially envisaged.
Technical Design
In the processes carried out by Amaze, this phase is often the one that determines the further development of the system most. Functional and Interaction requirements are examined from a technical perspective and answers are given to questions such as:
* which external dependencies exist?
* which objects and content types are required?
* to what extent must existing data be migrated to a new system?
* what are the system requirements?
* which applications that need to be used are the most suitable?
Depending on the type of project involved, this list will be supplemented in consultation with the customer. The end result is a transparent technical document that clearly describes the environment that is to be developed. The implementation partner must be able to estimate the volume of work properly on the basis of this document.
You can always contact us if you require additional information about the approach Amaze takes when creating a Technical Design.
